Day 225
Our plans for today were much looser, which inevitably resulted in lots of eating and a ridiculous amounts of walking. Our meals included breakfast at Maialino, a late lunch at Balthazar, a cheese + meat plate snack back at Eataly and an impromptu stop at Tacombi where Ryan had a taco. It was a long day and by the time I boarded my plane, I was exhausted. To add one last fun twist to the trip, it turned out Owen Wilson was on my flight sitting a couple rows ahead of me (I got the bump to first on the way home). I didn’t say anything to him or gawk, but it is always pleasant to see celebrities who appear to be kind, normal people. Another whirlwind weekend came to a close and I’m ready for what the week has in store!
